Stroud has worked with Justin Bieber, Michael Jackson, Jordin Sparks, Adam Lambert, Natasha Bedingfield, Mike Posner, Demi Lovato, and Kelly Clarkson. ==Early life and education== David Lee Stroud was born on November 2, 1965 in Provo, Utah to Calvin Stroud and Gerta Palmer, Mormon farmers. Stroud attended Valley High School in Orderville, Utah and Provo Canyon School in Provo. Growing up, Dave was always interested in music and attributes John Denver for inspiring him to pursue a career in music. In high school, Dave dreamed of a career as a performer. Dave attended Salt Lake Community College and University of Utah to enhance his understanding of the voice. He began singing in a few bands, but when Dave's mentor asked him to start teaching his younger students, Dave quickly realized that teaching was his passion.
